An Afternoon at the Theatre

Brynly went to the theatre for the first time yesterday. We caught a matinee of a local children's production of Pinocchio. I wasn't sure how this would go, but she lasted for a whole hour. She actually watched and pointed and was pretty into it. I am very glad. Those of you who know me only from the adoption angle may not know that I have been involved in theatre forever. I was an actor as a kid, majored in Theatre in college, did the whole New York starving actor thing and I have my own children's theatre company. In fact, next time you watch the movie Inspector Gadget, be ready to pause toward the end during the scene on the bridge. The brilliant acotr gasping for about a second...yep that is me.

Performing has always been a very important part of my life and I hope Brynly enjoys it as well.
